About Us

At Carrot we recruit for the following sectors within the pharmaceutical industry:

Market Research & Business Intelligence; Market Access, Pricing & HEOR; Medical Communications; Medical Education; Advertising; PR, Publishing, Digital and Marketing.

 

Carrot Pharma Recruitment was established in 2006 by Martin and Debbie Anderson, both of whom have significant commercial experience in the Pharmaceutical industry having worked in a range of agency and client side roles.  Our USP is that we focus purely on roles where we’ve had personal experience in the past, either directly or indirectly. This means that we understand very clearly what our clients are looking for and are well placed to provide our candidates with a very knowledgeable service.

Our approach to recruitment is slightly different to the norm because we involve ourselves very much in the industry by attending and sponsoring industry seminars, attending conferences and contributing articles to publications such as Pharma Marketing Magazine, Pharmatimes and Research.

We pride ourselves in being very knowledgeable and proactive but also quite informal and therefore very approachable. We form very good relations with both clients and candidates which ultimately lead to positive outcomes for all involved.

The Carrot Team

We work in small dedicated teams, each consisting of two or three experienced consultants and a mixture of recruitment and industry experience.  

The Market Research & Business Intelligence team is led by Debbie Anderson who has many years experience in pharmaceutical market research, both agency and clientside.  Liz Sutch has solid recruitment experience within the pharmaceutical market research field and Matt Dwire joined the team following nearly 5 years of market research agency experience.

The Healthcare Communications team is fronted by Lisa Short who has over 12 years of recruitment experience. Lisa is well supported by Emma Townsend and Cheryl Hatton, both of whom are also vastly experienced recruitment consultants. The Healthcare Comms team recruit for clients in Medical Communications, Medical Education, Advertising, PR, Publishing and Digital.
