Editor – Med Comms Agency - Nr Reading
This well established business helps their clients to deliver new drugs to the market place. They are a fully integrated communications company and they offer clinical, commercial and consulting services to their clients, which are some of the largest and best known pharmaceutical and biotech companies in the world. They have a strong global network across 50 countries, and hire exceptional professionals.
This is an Editorial role for a candidate with a science degree and experience in an editorial position, from which you can demonstrate some specific training within a publishing company as a copy-editor or a production editor. Within this role you’ll assist in the production of high-quality education materials for pharmaceutical clients. You’ll manage the progression of jobs from approved copy to print stage, ensuring that optimum communication is achieved through effective use of words and design.
You should be highly organised and have strong project management skills as well as strong editing capability.
Your command of English and attention to detail should of course be exceptional, together with your proofing skills. You should be familiar with BSOI copy preparation and proof-reading marks. Knowledge from a med comms environment and your scientific degree should enable you to demonstrate knowledge of therapy areas and to review copy and liaise with clients and authors.
