Account / Programme Director

An established medical education agency based in Buckinghamshire is looking for an experienced Account / Programme Director to join their successful commercial team. The position is ideal for someone with solid experience within a medical education environment looking to forward their career in a forward thinking and successful agency environment.

You will take the lead on various Medical Education events – and your experience in working on Satellite Meetings, Advisory boards, and stand alone events is key here.  You should have strong pharmaceutical sector knowledge.  We are looking for candidates who want to take ownership of their role, be in a senior position with real responsibility.  You’ll report to the agency Directors, and work with a team of equally impressive professionals.  Experience of content development, and with KOL experience is key for this position. 

So the position will involve managing aspects of defined Med Ed projects, along with being responsible and accountable for the successful delivery of projects within budget. You will also input strategic direction and identify and develop new and roll-on business opportunities within your accounts. Excellent communication skills are essential as you will be expected to develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients and opinion leaders. You will also be feeding regular updates to the company directors regarding the progress and resourcing of accounts. Good commercial awareness and understanding along with some experience of financial management would be advantageous as you will have input into budgets and schedules (prior to submission).
