Medical Writer

Our Client is a specialist medical communications consultancy, with offices in Europe and North America. They specialise in writing and producing educational campaigns on behalf of the global pharmaceutical industry. Their main expertise is in writing and currently have more than 35 writers qualified to doctoral level. They have specific areas of therapeutic expertise, including genetic disorders, gastroenterology, oncology, central nervous system disorders, cardiovascular medicine, nephrology and metabolic diseases.

Due to continued growth within this organisation there is now an opportunity for experienced medical writers to join one of these in-house teams. You will be involved with clients from briefing to completion of projects. You will have a good honours degree in life sciences and ideally a PhD and relevant previous experience gained within an agency environment.

You should also have excellent communication skills both in writing and face to face communication and you are able to build a rapport with clients and colleagues with ease. You will also have excellent organisational and project management skills and experience in one or more of the following areas would be an advantage to this role: metabolic disease, multiple sclerosis, haematology and cardiovascular medicine.
