Client Services Director - Global Medical Communications Agency - City of London

This company, part of a global communications business specialises in Medical Communications and Medical Education services for its clients. The core business activities for them are: Medical Education, Publications Planning, Conferences & Meetings, Exhibition Stand design, build and management, Multimedia Solutions, Creative Design and Scientific Consultancy.

This position will require you to use your extensive scientific and commercial expertise to act as a strategic partner to the development of overall and tactical plans. You will be responsible for growth and maintenance of a large client account including the financial, resourcing and financial responsibility. It will be critical that you will be able to utilise your extensive knowledge and experience of the industry to apply a high level of scientific and commercial expertise with your contacts.

Your management and supervisory skills are vital, and you’ll be expected to get the best out of your team through maximising their opportunities for development and growth, with responsibility for additional training if necessary.

It is imperative that you have a Life Sciences degree or PhD working across at least two therapy areas including oncology. You should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be a creative thinker and enthusiastic problem solver.  This is a role that requires a strong decision maker, ability to work independently, and as part of a team, and a flexible attitude.
