Business Development Manager - Oxford

Our client is a full service event management agency with an impressive portfolio of UK and international clients, often working alongside medical communication and PR agencies and CROs. Their specialist healthcare division has been the driving force behind some of the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry’s most successful events over the last 20 years.

They have a full understanding of the industry’s unique needs and regulatory requirements, and in the past two years alone have organised over 150 events for more than 14,000 participants on a worldwide scale. Now looking for a commercially focused person with a medical communications or pharmaceutical background to drive the growth of the company through new business development, particularly in the pharmaceutical and healthcare markets, generate new clients and expand the opportunities available to secure profitable business and grow long term relationships.

As part of the senior management team you will also be responsible for ensuring the ongoing development of the company’s capabilities, competitiveness, efficiency and KPIs. You will also oversee all new proposals and pitch development including procurement driven RFPs, and provide strategic input on projects to meet client’s specific business needs.
