Business Development Manager - Leading Pharma Agency - Oxfordshire

A leading pharma agency that specialises in online techniques is on the lookout for a proven Business Developer to join their Fieldwork Services team.  The primary function of the Fieldwork Services business is to supply other market research/PR/Communications agencies with online data collection and access to the panel of healthcare professionals.  

The Business Development Manager (BDM) plays a critical role and is responsible for serving all current fieldwork customers as well as developing and identifying new customers. You will be a team player well versed in maximizing results through the people that you work with in order to deliver to customer needs. Working closely with customers, you will manage the agency’s business relationships to ensure that they create new opportunities and establish profitable working relationships. The Business Development Manager will enable customers to have the confidence to choose the agency as a primary partner for fieldwork services within the healthcare marketplace in the UK and in the long term, at an international level as well.

The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated, clear thinker, with a passion for healthcare fieldwork. You will also be educated to degree level, have a proven track record of selling field services, ideally within the healthcare sector and the ability to manage complex sampling and methodology requirements of customers. Experience in negotiating and generating short and long term customer contracts and service agreements is a must.
