Senior Medical Writer

Our client, a truly global Medical Communications Agency, based in Oxford, requires a Senior Medical Writer to join their growing team. The role of senior medical writer primarily involves meeting client needs through the delivery of scientific content for a range of medical communications activities.

The successful candidate will also be responsible for overseeing the timely delivery of editorial work from their team. The ability to juggle several projects and accounts, whist managing incoming workload effectively across writing teams and maintaining standards of excellence in finished products, will be necessary.

As a senior team member you will be expected to develop Writers within an account team to achieve their full potentialwhist also coaching and mentoring junior Writers as required. You will need to have an understanding of the medical and marketing issues relating to the client, product and therapy area and be able to liaise with the client on such issues.

The agency currently has some really exciting and interesting projects and works with highly respected clients within the industry. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced medical writer with a minimum of two experience within the industry.
