Research Scientist - Outcomes Research

My client is a leading scientific and medical affairs organization with a truly global presence.  They partner with life science companies to develop and commercialize their products through the generation of authoritative, real-world evidence of product effectiveness, safety and value.

They are seeking an Independent principal investigator of projects to be responsible for overseeing all aspects of project delivery and take scientific responsibility for project completion; strategic consultation and for use of best methods to address research needs.

This is a senior level position with a significant leadership component, you therefore need to have:

• A deep understanding of health outcomes research principles and familiarity with key aspects of the literature (historical and current)
• Advanced level understanding of relevant methodology and statistics
• Extensive knowledge of practical research implementation
• Excellent communication skills including professional presentations
• Ability to critically review literature and contribute successfully to peer-reviewed literature in health outcomes
• PhD with greater than one year of experience; or Masters with greater than seven years of experience
• MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel; familiarity with SAS or similar data analysis software
