An established and leading agency specialising in pharmaceutical market research is looking for a Research Executive to join a new team which specialises in Market Access. This agency works with global pharmaceutical clients to support them as they align new products to potential customers through research and communication; pre and post launch they review the market regularly to provide clients with up to date and accurate information about a constantly changing marketplace.
This company has an enviable reputation for quality and success. Their market access research division has particular strengths in pricing and reimbursement, market access, and health economics and outcomes research.
The role involves:
- Performing secondary research and data collation using the Internet, databases, published and unpublished materials
- Undertaking numerical analyses (quantitative) through using statistics, and models
- Preparing clear and accurate materials for clients which summarises findings
- Working within an international team to complete projects
- Keeping abreast of market developments through taking an active interest in the health policies of a number of key countries and in pharmaceutical and biotech companies.
We are looking for somebody who has:
- At least a 2:1 degree in a life science subject, with knowledge of statistics and modeling
- A strong interest in business economics with good commercial acumen
- A solid understanding of the healthcare industry
- Experience of desk (secondary) research
- An ability to create documents and presentation of a high standard incorporating complex information
- Good project management skills
A positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and the desire to succeed in a challenging and changing environment are also essential. Knowledge of Spanish and Italian is desirable, but by no means essential.
The role is rewarded with good basic salary, potential for bonus, generous holiday allowance, pension, healthcare and life insurance.
