A UK-based medical device company were considering opening a new R&D centre and had two locations to choose from. One very important consideration for them was proximity to scientific talent.
We were engaged to assess the accessibility of scientific talent pools in each location and provide a clear comparison.
We used both online search methods and our extensive networks to map the extent of suitable R&D talent and collect relevant data such as employers, role, education, seniority and likelihood to switch role.
The data was used to produce an insights report comparing talent pools helping the client to decide with confidence which site was the best option.
