Director of Medical Affairs – £Competitive Salary, Company Car and Benefits - Fully remote working with international travel

Carrot Pharma Recruitment are working on behalf of an innovative Medical devices company to recruit a Director of Medical Affairs.

The Company

My client are an International Medical Device company offering a range of products for wound and skin care with a focus on patients with topical inflammatory and infectious diseases.  

The Role

As Director of Medical Affairs you will be responsible for leading medical affairs communications, publications, patient advocacy and education initiatives. Acting as an ambassador for the company and its expanding products portfolio you will attend congresses and external meetings with academics and key opinion leaders.   You will play an influential role within the international management team, working cross functionally with all areas of the business both in the UK and Europe.

Tasks to develop insightful disease specific medical and patient education plans using multiple sources and platforms, whilst ensuring all medical communication activities are in compliance with regulatory and legal requirements.  


To be considered for this role applicants must have the following -

  • D, Ph.D. or significant Medical Affairs experience at Associate Director or Director level
  • Minimum of 5 years of prior industry Medical Affairs experience
  • Experience in wound care or/and dermatology are advantageous but not essential.

The role will work fully remotely with international travel required.
