This highly successful, independent Healthcare Communications Agency known for its fully integrated and patient centred approach to communications is seeking an experienced Account Director to join their close-knit and supportive team.


The Company

This agency really stands out in terms of their fully integrated approach to healthcare communications; with teams working across Medcomms, Advertising, Analytics and Market Research they are able to provide a consultative approach to their varied client needs. Due to their ongoing success and new business, they are seeking an Account Director to join their team.

The Role

This Account Director opportunity would suit an experienced SAM ready to step up, or an Account Director seeking a challenging role in a down to earth, independent agency. Working within the Advertising function you will use your unrivalled knowledge of UK and Global healthcare markets managing the day to day running of client accounts and oversee a range of promotional campaigns from start to finish:

  • Providing consultation and guidance to pharmaceutical and healthcare clients to ensure the best level of service
  • Working closely with clients to develop engaging creative briefs and successful outcomes
  • You will bring a positive and motivational attitude to the team to mentor junior team members and support the senior leadership team
  • Working closely with the senior management team to identify areas for new business and to develop accounts



To be successful for this Account Director opportunity you should have a real passion for healthcare communications as well as a solid level of AD or SAM experience gained in an agency setting. You will be a self-motivated and diligent individual who seeks to produce the best possible results!To be successful you should have:

  • Passion and enthusiasm for healthcare marketing, communications and advertising
  • Healthcare agency experience as an SAM or AD is essential
  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills
  • Understanding of pharmaceutical and health related issues
  • Understanding of all elements within the promotional/marketing mix
  • Fully conversant with the ABPI code of conduct
