The Role

Account Manager / Senior Account Manager - Medical Communications, Medical Education and Marketing - Central London - £35k-45k benefitsWhat would you do with 38 days annual leave?

The Company

This 45-person medical communications agency are continuing to go from strength to strength, and are expanding their client services team with an experienced Account Manager / Senior Account Manager as a result of new business. You will join a company who:
  • Provide educational services to over 20,000 healthcare professionals through events and digital offerings
  • Work with top pharma companies in the areas of Respiratory, Cardiology and Diabetes
  • Are within easy walking distance of two tube and one train station
  • Offer a great working culture, demonstrated by three ex-employees returning in 2019
  • Have a dedicated social team who arrange events and activities, and have traditions such as pizza Fridays
  • Offer a great benefits package including pension scheme, healthcare, 38 days annual leave including bank holidays and flexible working including time in lieu and homeworking when required

The Role

As the Account Manager / Senior Account Manager, you will be responsible for:
  • Booking sponsors, venues and AV
  • Arranging marketing throughout the database including sponsored content on emails and briefing designers
  • Getting marketing material approved
  • Patient campaigns and social media
  • Client liaison throughout the full project
  • Generating monthly reports
  • Travelling weekly within the UK


To be considered for this Account Manager / Senior Account Manager opportunity you will be able to demonstrate:
  • Experience working in an Account Manager / Senior Account Manager or client facing Project Manager capacity
  • Experience within a medical communications or events agency
  • Experience managing digital projects (webinars, webcasts, apps etc.) is beneficial but not essential
  • Budget management experience
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to excel within a team environment
  • A scientific background is not necessary for this role
