How do you keep up-to-date with the issues in your sector?

By being in regular contact with candidates and clients within my sector and attending networking events is invaluable in staying up-to-date. Also PMLive, BBC Health and LinkedIn are key tools. Because of my background studying science I have a keen interest in staying informed and up-to-date with any advancements in the sector.

What's your favourite film and why?

Pulp Fiction! It's Tarantino at his best. Great cast, great soundtrack and a great storyline which keeps you on your toes with its intertwining arcs. It's rightfully a cult classic.

If you could invent one thing what would it be?

A teleportation device. In would enable me to visit incredible locations around the world without having to deal with the hassle of long haul flights. So many amazing places to visit, so little time!

Account Manager- Boutique Healthcare Advertising Agency- Berkshire- £30k-£35k

The Role

As an Account Manager, you will be the vital link between the agency and its clients. Some of your responsibilities may include:

  • Management of budgets associated with project delivery and keeping clients updated on project progress.

  • Working alongside Account Directors to develop recommendations and strategies for clients.

  • Providing support and advice to more junior team members to aid in their development so in time they can take on greater responsibilities.

  • Ensuring that you remain knowledgeable and up to date with important industry news and changes in order to provide a great service to the agency's clients.



If you have experience within healthcare communications working at the Account Manager level, or are a Senior Account Executive ready to take the next step in your career then this position may be a perfect match for you. Along with this:

  • You will have excellent time management skills to achieve deadlines and prioritise tasks.

  • You should have an excellent knowledge of the ABPI and other relevant codes of practice.

  • You should be a real team player, which may mean needing at times to direct your skills and strengths to projects outside your core responsibilities.

  • You should possess excellent interpersonal skills and be able to communicate effectively both in house and with clients.
