A growing healthcare communications agency is searching for an ambitious Account Manager to join their ranks. Although relatively new, this ambitious independent healthcare advertising agency has burst onto the scene and has some exciting business in their pipeline as they move in to 2019.

The Role

As an Account Manager, you will play a vital part of ensuring the smooth running of the agency's projects. You will be contributing to the overall goal of producing compelling communications for numerous healthcare audiences.

  • Build and maintain strong day-to-day relationships with clients ensuring that communication flows effectively.

  • Set and manage client expectations in terms of timeframes, finances and deliverables.

  • Work closely with project managers and creative staff to plan individual project elements and help bring them together on overall project plans.

  • Attend client meetings, pitches and training as appropriate.

  • Help with the progression and development of junior members of staff.

 

You

As an Account Manager, you will have a strong science related degree along with 2 years' experience working in a healthcare communications agency. You will have some experience of attending and presenting at client pitches.

  • You should have fantastic verbal and written communication skills.

  • A strong understanding and real passion for health-related communications.

  • You should be dedicated to cultivating meaningful relationships across both the agency and the client portfolio.

Speaking to candidates and clients on a daily basis allows me to keep up-to-date with changes and news in my industry. I also find LinkedIn groups and professional journals are invaluable for keeping on top of industry topics. 

What's your favourite film and why?

Tim Burton's Big Fish has to be my go-to film of choice. An over the top, fantastical and emotional story of epic proportions full of weird and quirky touches...escapism at it's finest!

If you could invent one thing what would it be?

If I could invent one thing it would be to make the Replicator from Star Trek a reality - I love food but hate cooking after a busy day in the office so this would be ideal!
