The Role

This Account Manager opportunity will involve working on a brand-new large account, within haematology, as well as assisting on several smaller accounts. Ensuring projects are carried out on time, to budget and to the highest possible quality. Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting in business growth by suggesting potential new project work for existing and novel clients as well as assisting in business growth by suggesting potential new project work for existing and novel clients.

  • Liaise both internally and externally, including leading client call and face to face meetings, as well as overseeing the management of third-party suppliers.

  • Project managing the process, including developing project plans, timelines and budgets inline with client brief, and providing regular status updates.

  • Use therapy area and platform/ creative knowledge to add value to all assigned projects.

  • Mentoring the junior account team and giving regular feedback to assigned direct reports.

 

You

  • Over 2 years' experience working in a medical communications agency.

  • Enjoys playing a lead role on a new account.

  • Confidence leading client calls and face to face meetings.

  • Experience of people managing, 1 or 2 direct reports.

  • Willingness to get involved in a variety of tasks, from higher level strategic planning to rolling up sleeves and getting involved in the day-to-day delivery
