Account Manager - Independent Creative Medical Communications Agency - Central Manchester - £28k -£35k DoE

Fantastic opportunity for an experienced Account Manager to join a creative, independent agency based in brand new central Manchester offices. They're looking an ambitious, strong communicator who can independently take the lead on one of their key accounts.

 

The Company

Central Manchester based independently owned healthcare communications agency are expanding

  • Grown from 2 to 12 employees in the past three years, specialising within the niche areas of clinical and advertising
  • Working with pharma clients offering a range of services including printed materials, websites, white papers, social media and marketing, branching out into apps in the coming months

The Role

This Medical Communications Account Manager opportunity will involve the following key responsibilities:

  • Project managing the deliverables from initial briefing through to project delivery.
  • Strong client management/ liaison abilities. Will take the lead on a key account.
  • Financial management including the interpretation and use of numerical material and presentation of numerical information clearly and accurately.
  • The role will involve joint line management of one Account Executive.
  • Keeping up to date with healthcare knowledge and the clinical trial industry.

 

You

To apply for the med comms Account Manager role, out client was hoping for candidates with the following skills and experiences:

  • Life sciences degree.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience working in a medical communications agency, ideally already at Account Manager level.
  • Basic understanding of B2B marketing/advertising and patient engagement in clinical trials.
  • Project management experience with the ability to accurately prioritise workload.
  • Financial management experience.
  • Excellent communication skills with proven experience being the point of contact for clients.
