The Company

My client is establishing itself as one of the strongest UK Consultancies with a very experienced Senior Leadership team both in the UK & in the US. They have recently brought in a Health Economics Director to help grow and develop their presence in this area and this in addition to their Market Access Consulting Team.

They have developed a fantastic and supportive culture with lots of help and advice given to all staff from Analyst through to Director and with lovely, modern offices they truly want to foster a great environment for people to learn and develop their capabilities within Health Economics / HEOR.

This company is currently one of the most established names within the Market Access / HEOR space in the US so whilst the UK entity is relatively 'new' you will receive the support and backing of the US entity!


The Role

Working alongside a Senior HEOR Director for the UK entity company you will be responsible for assisting clients in the Pharma, Biotech & Medical Device sectors in developing effective HEOR & Health Economic Strategies across multiple therapy areas.

With this being an Associate Director level role, you will be heavily involved with all aspects of the Health Economics & Market Access Strategy moving forward relating to Business Development, Project Deliverables and helping towards hiring and building a team!



It's important that you are first and foremost a capable Health Economist but that you have a strong commercial background ideally gained within a Health Economics Consulting or Pharma background. Key Skills:

  • Experience in Health Economic Modelling / Outcomes Research Methodology.
  • Experience working in Health Economics / HEOR within a Pharma or Consulting environment.
  • Experience helping or mentoring more Junior Heath Economists.
  • Experience in Business Development and Managing Projects will be important.
  • A Masters Level Degree in Health Economics or related subject is vital.

This is alongside Pharma companies working with various country specific regulators to combat an ever-ageing population, increased demands on national budgets and the need for increased collaboration across local and regional levels.
