How do you keep up-to-date with the issues in your sector?

Through constant communication with candidates and clients within the industry. I like to meet with my clients and candidates as often as possible and to get out to as many networking events as I can. I also like to keep track of what is happening in the industry via LinkedIn, PMLive and other pharma news sites. 

What's your favourite film and why?

Gladiator - it's a timeless film with a great cast and fantastic story. They don't make them like that anymore.

If you could invent one thing what would it be?

I'd love to have a teleport. I love to travel but some places are so far away! I'd love to press a button and be able to spend the weekend on the beach in Fiji.

What makes you #DistinctlyDifferent?

I can read and write in Korean! After teaching English over there I have learnt to really understand people and have seen how rewarding it is to help people whatever their circumstances. In my job I really listen to both my clients and candidates needs and try to match them as best as possible.

This large, established healthcare communications agency with a strong digital focus is looking for a Senior Account Executive to join their team. Their creative and innovative campaigns have won multiple awards and their portfolio boasts multiple blue-chip clients.

The Role

As a Senior Account Executive you will be expanding upon your previous experience while working alongside the account management team in order to cultivate key accounts, evaluate new industry trends and provide financial updates.

  • Autonomy to deal with daily account work, logistics and administration regarding clients.

  • An ability to lead meetings and effectively communicate action steps and recommendations to clients.

  • Support account managers, account directors and group account directors in understanding budget matters.

  • Grow and maintain strong client relationships and meet client expectation to further the success of the agency

  • A range of demanding and fast moving projects with high client expectation.

 

You

Along with a passion for health-related communications you will have a positive attitude, engage with wider agency activities and embody the company philosophy. You also:

  • Will have prior experience working as an account executive or junior account executive within the creative or marketing industry.

  • Will be especially gifted in verbal and written communication in order to liaise with both clients and internal colleagues.

  • Will have some experience working within digital projects and have some understanding of digital and multichannel marketing.

  • Will demonstrate creativity, great judgement and tenacity and hopefully bring the best attributes out of their colleagues too.

  • Will be receptive to expanding your knowledge and learning new skills.
