Carrot Pharma are working on behalf of large global Pharma company to recruit a Medical Manager to work from their UK Head Office in Berkshire.

The Role

My client is now looking to recruit an experienced Medical Manager to drive the Medical Strategy throughout the UK and Ireland. Overseeing the Thrombosis Division, the role will take the lead providing Medical input into Brand Strategies and governance. Duties within the role will include:

  • Lead the development of the Medical component of the Brand Strategy and develop a Medical Plan for each assigned product, in support of the Brand Plans.
  • Work cross functionally with Marketing and Commercial teams building strong working relationships
  • Develop the KOL and Stakeholder engagement plans via KOL's, new business wins meetings, Out of Licence enquiries, medical marketing project development with KOL's & symposia/congress development
  • Recommend medical objectives and strategies for the brands to the local Brand Team, Thrombosis Director and the Head of Global Scientific Affairs Thrombosis.
  • Responsible for the day to day management of Thrombosis Scientific Advisor
  • Ensure the timely review and processing of Investigator Initiated Studies (IISs)



To be considered for this role applicants must have

  • Be a UK Registered Pharmacist with active GPhC Registration
  • Hold Final Signatory status
  • Have a Minimum of 2 years Clinical Experience along with minimum of 3 years spent working within the Pharmaceutical Industry within Medical Affairs
  • Have significant Copy Approval experience with the proven ability to work in collaborations with varying business divisions and stakeholders
  • Experience / background in Haematology or Oncology desirable
