Scientific Advisor, Berkshire - Competitive Salary and Excellent Benefits Package

Carrot Pharma are working on behalf of large global Pharma company to recruit a Scientific Advisor to work office based from their UK Head Office in Berkshire.

Working within the Thrombosis Division the role will provide scientific support and insight in the treatment of this critically important area of care.

 

The Role

My client is now looking to recruit an experienced Scientific Advisor to support the Medical Manager to drive the Medical Strategy throughout the UK and Ireland.

Within the role you provide Scientific Leadership, governance and advise throughout the companies' sales, marketing and commercial teams as well as providing support the companies business partners.

You will be responsible for keeping on the bleeding edge of new development within the market which will in turn inform decisions and provide input into the Commercial Operations Plan. Duties within the role will include: ·

  • Providing Scientific Affairs support to the marketing department assisting with the development of promotional and nonpromotional items on both a local and global level.
  • Carry out technical reviews of all materials to ensure they meet ABPI / IPHA code and relevant legislation.
  • Design and deliver comprehensive Scientific insight training to internal sales and marketing teams
  • Attend meetings with HCP and participate in national / internal congresses and report back to the Medical Advisor / Director on your findings.
  • Meet and present scientific subject matter related to product and therapy area with HCPs Attendance at key national and international congresses and congress report generation
  • Act a main point of contact for complex Medical Information queries and offer training and support to the companies' medical information outsourcing partner.

 

You

To be considered for this role applicants must have:

  • Pharmacist or Scientific Post Graduate Degree
  • Copy approval experience is essential in this role - (final signatory training will be provided)
  • Experience within Medical Information/Scientific or Medical Department within the Pharmaceutical Industry with experience of dealing with complex MI queries.
  • In depth understanding of working with ABPI Code of Practice IPHA Code of Practice for the Pharmaceutical Industry.

This role would suit an experienced Medical Information professional looking to progress their career with an opportunity to undertake their final signatory training and progress within Medical Affairs.
