The main way in which I keep up-to-date with issues is through constantly speaking with my client and candidate network and through industry relevant news and articles. 

What's your favourite film and why?

I'm definitely much more of a boxset type of person. I have a very low attention span for films - I'm currently going through the Vikings series and I love it! 

If you could invent one thing what would it be?

A teleporting device where I could be in any country in the world within as short a time as possible. Love to travel but dislike the actual travelling element!

The Role

Brand Manager OTC - Global Pharma Business - Highly Competitive Package


The Company

I am currently recruiting on behalf of a global pharma company who have a truly unrivalled brand portfolio with power brands across multiple categories. Due to increased market share they are looking for a highly experienced Brand Manager with experience of OTC Products. They have achieved consistent growth and their breakthrough plans for the future make this a great place to further your career. This position requires a strong understanding of NHS in particular the structure, funding and commissioning and how to influence both payors and prescribers.


The Role

  • Lead the professional OTC brand strategy for the brands within the pharmacy channel
  • Managing one assistant brand manager and working closely with wider brand marketing teams and sales teams to ensure effective development and implementation of the brand and sector marketing strategies
  • This position requires a strong understanding of OTC market including the structure, funding and commissioning of pharmacy in the new NHS and the differences between the different countries within the UK
  • The marketing activities will include those associated with supporting all aspects of the marketing mix including development of targeted materials, salesforce assets, media, digital, PR, KOL development, seminars and speaker meetings plus input into use of resources, policy and environmental campaigns.
  • Strong understanding of all the different channels to reach the required audience, in particular experience in digital activation to HCPs, especially pharmacists



  • Strong commercial understanding & financial acumen
  • Awareness and understanding of the NHS
  • Proven implementation ability
  • Experience in OTC - preferred
  • Strong Interpersonal skills, able to influence management and work cross-functionally
