The Role

Brand Manager (12-month maternity cover), UK Based Consumer Healthcare Company, South West London, £35-40k


The Company

  • The company is well established, UK based and has an extremely impressive portfolio of highly successful products which are household names.

  • They have an in-house R&D function for new products as well as partnering with other companies to continually expand their portfolio.

  • They are involved in numerous fundraising and community support projects across the UK and abroad.


The Role

  • As a Brand Manager, you will be responsible for the development and implementation of the marketing strategies for selected consumer health brands in the UK.
  • You will develop and implement the brand strategy and the UK marketing plans to deliver on P&L targets.
  • You will develop and implement effective communication strategy and consumer communication plans, including digital and social media campaigns.
  • You will liaise with media and creative agencies to brief, agree and implement the marketing campaigns.
  • You will work closely with the sales team to gain an understanding of the key objectives and challenges by account, so you can respond accordingly with promotional materials and account support.
  • You will work on the development and implementation of in-store campaigns to increase brand visibility in-store as well as educational materials for pharmacy channel.
  • You will work closely with Regulatory Affairs department to ensure all communication meets regulatory requirements.



  • To be considered for this role you must have previous experience in brand management of consumer products from FMCG or OTC/Healthcare sectors (ideally 5 years).
  • You will have experience of executing brand strategies and development and implementation of the annual brand plan.
  • You will have experience in P&L management, project management and working within the annual marketing budget.
  • You will be experienced in managing creative and media agencies.
  • You will ideally have experience of delivering in-store campaigns with major UK retailers and able to demonstrate success in an uplift in sales.
  • You will have a passion for digital and social marketing and be enthusiastic and keen to make an impact quickly.
