Manufacturing and Applied Statistics Director - Global Pharmaceutical Client - High Wycombe (with some remote working ) - £negotiable

The Manufacturing and Applied Statistics Director will be responsible for managing a team whilst remaining very much hands on, collaborating with researchers on experimental design, data analysis, interpretation and communication of data evidence for research and development of products

The Role

The Manufacturing and Applied Statistics Director will be responsible for;

  • Provide technical leadership both internally and externally
  • Critical thinking and excellent translation of ideas into solutions, via appropriate research and application of statistical methodology.
  • Collaboration with researchers on experimental design, data analysis, interpretation, and communication of data evidence for research and development of products
  • Serve as a statistics representative for cross-functional teams.
  • Lead and co-authorships of publications and presentations

 

You

To apply for this role as a Manufacturing and Applied Statistics Director, our client is hoping for someone with the following skills and experience;

  • PhD / Master's degree in Statistics or related Quantitative Sciences field
  • Proficiency of R statistical software ideally. Similar Data Science programming language will be considered
  • Knowledge of linear mixed models and multivariate analysis is essential.
  • Commitment to modern data analysis techniques and experiences such as Bayesian models, data visualization, and analysis of high-dimensional data.
  • Demonstrated team leadership skills
  • Experience producing publications.
  • Pharma experience
