The Role

Business Development Manager - Compression - South Wales & South West - Competitive Salary Package.

 

The Company

Our client is a leading specialist in the medical device industry and has a range of innovative compression therapy products for various venous disorders. They are experiencing significant success across the industry and therefore are recruiting for a highly motivated individual to join their sales team.

 

The Role

A superb opportunity to be a part of a great team at the forefront of the compression therapy market, this role is promoting a range of high-quality compression therapy products into both primary and secondary care:

  • Lead your territory and be responsible for developing and uncovering new business across your defined sales area.

  • Personally manage and identify key accounts in the territory to maximise growth in existing accounts and win new business.

  • Promoting your products into both a primary and secondary care environment.

 

You

To be considered for the Business Development Manager role you will be:

  • Be a confident and driven individual capable of working independently.

  • Ideally you will have some medical sales experience however this is not essential; sales or clinical experience will be taken into account.

  • Have knowledge of the NHS and be able to demonstrate a desire to work in the medical device industry.

  • Be able and willing to cover a large territory and help gain new and develop existing accounts within that territory.

I specialise in candidate resourcing within the pharmaceutical sales and marketing industries. 

How do you keep up-to-date with the issues in your sector?

I keep a keen eye on pharma and bio news and gather information from the candidates and clients that I regularly keep in touch with. 

What's your favourite film and why?

This is a very tough question, it's hard to choose as I love so many. However, if I had to pick one it would probably be Hot Fuzz. Hilarious and no matter how many times I watch it there is always a funny I've missed.

If you could invent one thing what would it be?

A set of bionic wings - it would make the commute to and from work a breeze...

What makes you #DistinctlyDifferent?

Slightly ironically I have an identical twin, which confuses people. I think my science background gives me a slight leg up when job descriptions come through, better helping me find the right people for the right jobs.
