Which team do you work in?
I work in the Market Research and Business Intelligence team.

Which area do you specialise in?

I specialise in senior market research roles, working with a variety of PMR agencies and consultancies. I also work with our pharma company clients, covering market insight/business intelligence positions.

How do you keep up-to-date with the issues in your sector?

With a well established network of clients and candidates, keeping up to date with industry news is usually quite straightforward! Alongside speaking to those directly involved in the industry, I spend time browsing relevant industry websites and reading articles on LinkedIn

What's your favourite film and why?
I would probably say either the Batman Dark Knight trilogy or the Bourne Films. I think Christopher Nolan's a great director and I really like the premise of the Bourne films - I love a good conspiracy theory!

If you could invent one thing what would it be?
Maybe Bernard's Watch...?

What makes you #DistinctlyDifferent?
This is a tough one! I'm going to go for a couple of clichéd statements - my never-say-die attitude and the fact I'm the most organised recruitment consultant you'll meet. I've a folder for everything!

Exciting client side opportunity for 3 Business Insight Partners to join a growing Commercial Excellence team!


The Company

Our client is a world leading specialist pharma company, focusing on dermatologic and thromboembolic conditions. They combine innovative treatments in order to combat the physical and emotional challenges that people face when living with serious and chronic conditions. They currently operate in 61 countries and their products are sold in over 100 countries worldwide


The Role

There has been a restructuring of the Commercial Excellence team resulting in 3 BI Partner vacancies focusing on; Dermatology, Bio Dermatology, Thrombosis. Whilst a lot of BI roles are quite prescriptive, these roles have more of an entrepreneurial edge. New ideas you want to implement? Different systems you think would improve efficiencies? This is the place to be. Partnering with the Commercial Excellence Director you will be involved with:

  • All analytical activities at national and subnational level

  • Performance reporting and sales force effectiveness

  • Multi channel marketing / engagement analytics

  • Forecasting and scenario planning

  • Stakeholder engagement



In order to be successful in this role you'll need:

  • Business insights experience in a comparable company

  • SFE, forecasting and multichannel marketing experience would be advantageous

  • An understanding of pharma and the UK healthcare system in particular. Dermatology and/or thrombosis therapy area experience would be useful but isn't a prerequisite.

  • The ability to communicate with and influence a range of internal and external stakeholders

  • A strong analytical skillset and inquisitive mind!
