I work within the Healthcare Communications team. 

Which area do you specialise in?
I specialise in Medical Communications roles. 

How do you keep up-to-date with the issues in your sector?
Speaking daily with clients and candidates keeps me on top of the latest industry trends and news, combined with regularly visiting relevant websites and reading articles.

What's your favourite film and why?
I absolutely love a good rom-com, my favourite would have to be The Holiday.

If you could invent one thing what would it be?
Trackable GPS microchips for cats and dogs - how has this not been invented yet!?

The Role

As an Editorial Team Leader you will be responsible for:

  • Working closely with the senior leadership team to deliver business goals

  • Mentoring and coaching more junior members of the team

  • Develop outstanding knowledge of client data, therapy area and strategic objectives

  • Delivering compelling programmes that bring together commercial objective and scientific information

  • Ensuring excellence is delivered consistently on accounts, within budget and on time



To be considered for this Editorial Team Leader vacancy you must be able to demonstrate:

  • Experience as either an Editorial Team Leader or Senior Medical Writer looking for a step up

  • Previous medical writing experience is essential as this role will involve content creation

  • Med comms agency experience

  • Experience across a range of therapy areas ideally

  • Life sciences degree as a minimum, PhD ideally

  • An enthusiastic attitude and very much a team player
