(Senior) Copy Editor - Medical Communications Agency - Macclesfield - Up to £35k DoE

The Role

This role involves being responsible for providing scientific editorial support for assigned accounts, working closely with the medical writing, studio and client services functions to plan and manage work.

  • Editing a wide range of medical communications scientific content including publications, abstracts and posters across almost all therapy areas.
  • Accurate referencing.
  • Communicating effectively to provide diplomatic and constructive comments to writers
  • Prioritising workload when faced with competing needs.



To apply for this role as a (Senior) Copy Editor, our client was hoping for candidates with the following skills and responsibilities.

  • A proven track record of editing in a medical communications agency, or other biological sciences environment.
  • Excellent command of English language and attention to detail.
  • A biological sciences degree would be desirable.
  • A knowledge of industry guidelines.
  • Interest and learning and progression within medical communications.
