International Pharmaceutical company are looking for a Communications Director to lead their internal and external communication strategies, based in their central London headquarters.

The Role

Communications Director covering the UK, Ireland and Nordics, a member of the International Corporate Affairs and Communications team.

  • Lead the strategic development, implementation and management of internal and external communication strategies

  • Lead, plan and deliver effective proactive corporate PR campaigns

  • Promote and protect the company's business objectives, image, reputation and enhance stakeholder perception.

  • Act as the Communications lead, to develop and communicate their corporate communications strategy

  • Drive corporate narrative, image and brand and communicate it appropriately through external channels.

  • Support reimbursement and launch communication activities

  • Line management of Senior Communications Manager who will support the execution of key communications strategies.

  • Manage communication agencies and budgets



With extensive experience in PR Communications, specifically in the UK, you will have a strong understanding of the pharmaceutical business model, regulatory and reimbursement processes and current industry trends.

  • Experience managing issues and crises related to corporate reputation

  • High level understanding of UK and International Media, political and economic landscapes, decision-making processes and procedures.

  • Strong media relations experience and successful track record as a spokesperson.

  • Proven ability to anticipate communications needs based on the lifecycle of the product

  • Can work autonomously and deliver results with limited direction.
