Sales and Marketing

Which area do you specialise in?

I specialise in Sales Force and Sales Management roles across the Midlands

How do you keep up-to-date with the issues in your sector?

By talking to candidates and clients on a daily basis, LinkedIn, industry news articles and blogs alongside various Pharma magazines.

What's your favourite film and why?

It's a close call between Wolf of Wall Street, Inception and Snatch - but probably Snatch, Guy Ritchie and Brad Pitt at their best.

The definitive cure to a hangover! Failing that a cure for the common cold.

What makes you #DistinctlyDifferent?
I spent 6 months in West Virginia, U.S. on the Camp America scheme working with children aged 7-9. This gave me an understanding of caring for others and have transferred this skill into recruitment - supporting candidates' job searches and ensuring the role is right for them!

The Role

Key Account Manager, Oncology/Haematology, East Midlands & East Anglia, Competitive Financial Package

The Company

We are supporting a Global BioPharma Company who are currently expanding their Oncology division in various territories. Having recently successfully recruited a Key Account Manager within their team in the South, we are now looking for an additional head within their Oncology business unit. This role will focus across the East Midlands and East Anglia region & has come about due to an internal promotion!

They are a dynamic and aspirational company that have an amazing pipeline within specialist medicine and are now looking to add additional resources to support the ongoing success of their fantastic Oncology / Haematology pipeline - which have various new indications launching over the next 12/18 months!!

The Role

  • Promoting a well-positioned Oncology/Haematology drug, you will aim to grow sales and market share.

  • You will be required to identify and build effective and strategic account plans across your territory, adopting a multi stakeholder approach with internal and external stakeholders.

  • You will work at secondary care level, building strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders.

  • Keep up to date, maintaining knowledge and awareness of competitor drugs and strategies.

  • You will be a first-class Key Account Manager ideally with demonstrable success working with the NHS at a strategic level.

  • Previous or current experience in either Haematology or Oncology is strongly preferred, however the company will look outside of this for someone with excellent specialist care experience

  • You will have strong desire and a 'can do' attitude. Attitude is everything in this role, and the company really wants to see someone who is willing to 'make things happen'

  • You will be able to clearly demonstrate developing complex and strategic account plans to maximise sales both in the short and long term.
