The definitive cure to a hangover! Failing that a cure for the common cold. 

What makes you #DistinctlyDifferent?
I spent 6 months in West Virginia, U.S. on the Camp America scheme working with children aged 7-9. This gave me an understanding of caring for others and have transferred this skill into recruitment - supporting candidates' job searches and ensuring the role is right for them! 



The Role

Healthcare Development Manager, Global Pharma Company, Midlands, £competitive


The Company

We are recruiting for a Global Pharma Company that has a varied product portfolio across several different therapy areas. They have a fantastic opportunity to join their successful women’s health team covering the East and West Midlands territory and working with both existing products and a brand-new launch of a biosimilar.


The Role

As a Healthcare Development Manager, you will work autonomously across the Midlands – potentially based around the Birmingham area. The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting a women’s health portfolio in a team of three HDMs across the UK.

  • You will also contribute towards the launch of a Biosimilar coming up later in the year and work in collaboration with a field sales team to help promote uptake and gain formulary inclusion.

  • You will anticipate access barriers, get preferential status, formulary inclusion and ensure optimal funding of the clients’ products.

  • You will develop clear engagement plans with concise objectives and activities to optimise funding & access of products.

  • You will be responsible for identifying the changing needs of the payers and identify and shape multi stakeholder projects that are of interest to the payers across your territory.



  • You will come from either a Pharmaceutical or Healthcare Sales environment whereby you have natural commercial acumen and excellent account and business planning.

  • You will be a high performing Healthcare Development Manager / NHS Liaison / Market Access Manager with an innovative approach.

  • Exceptional planning skills on a local and regional level, you will have a complete understanding of the prescribing process and the principles of strategic account management looking at both immediate and long terms objectives.

  • Previous experience in women’s health or Biosimilar therapy areas beneficial but not essential.

  • You will be able to demonstrate consistent success throughout your career and be able to illustrate when you have identified and built relationships at a local and regional level

  • You will have a positive outlook and thrive in an autonomous environment.
