The definitive cure to a hangover! Failing that a cure for the common cold. 

What makes you #DistinctlyDifferent?
I spent 6 months in West Virginia, U.S. on the Camp America scheme working with children aged 7-9. This gave me an understanding of caring for others and have transferred this skill into recruitment - supporting candidates' job searches and ensuring the role is right for them!

The Role

Regional Account Director, 1st Line Sales Manager, Cardiovascular, East Anglia

 

The Company

Our client is a nationwide, medium sized Pharma company that have a series of market leading products covering a variety of therapeutic areas. Due to a recent product launch, they are currently looking for a talented and experienced Regional Account Director /Regional Business Manager to work within the Cardiovascular team. This territory is covering across Suffolk, Norfolk, Cambridgeshire and Peterborough. This is a Management role, leading a team of 1-3 Key Account Managers with a developing primary care team across the territory, as well as providing the Market Access for this recent launch.

 

The Role

Within this Regional Account Director position, you will be responsible for:

  • Line managing a team of 1-3 Key Account Managers within the territory

  • Working completely autonomously across your territory; you will anticipate access barriers, get preferential status, formulary inclusion and ensure optimal funding of the clients' products

  • Identifying the changing needs of the payers and identify & shape multi-stakeholder projects that are of an interest to the payers within the territory

 

You

To be considered for this Regional Business Manager/Market Access hybrid role, you will:

  • Have Line Management experience

  • Ideally have experience as a Healthcare Development Manager/Market Access Consultant, or failing this a strong background in Key Account Management

  • Exceptional planning skills on a local and regional level, you will have a complete understanding of the prescribing process and the principles of strategic account management looking at both immediate and long terms objectives.

  • You will have strong business management and be able to formulate account plans and be able to demonstrate when you have work with Payers, CCGs, Medicines Management and other external influencers.

  • Ideally will have Cardiovascular experience (flexible)
