Pharmacist - East Anglia - £Competitive salary + car allowance and uncapped bonus

Carrot Pharma are working in partnership with a leading Clinical Support Service to recruit an experienced Pharmacist to work as part of their field-based team covering the East Anglia area.


The Company

Working in close partnership with the Pharmaceutical Industry my client provides comprehensive support services to the NHS, CCG's and Local GP Practices throughout the East Anglia area, offering comprehensive medication audit and review services.


The Role

Working as Clinical Pharmacist you will be responsible for managing practice based clinical projects throughout the East Anglia area. You will be tasked to complete comprehensive medication and patient audits in a timely and professional manner whilst delivering optimum clinical values to both patients and practices.

This unique opportunity allows experienced Pharmacist the opportunity to develop their knowledge and experience within specialist areas such as COPD, Diabetes and Asthma whilst receiving specialist on the job training to become experts in their field.



To be considered for this role candidates must be.

  • Registered Pharmacist ideally with Community / Primary Care experience
  • Full UK Drivers Licence with a willingness to travel extensively throughout the East Anglia area
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills with a proactive mindset.

The role is paying a competitive salary plus car allowance and the opportunity to earn a very lucrative uncapped bonus which can increase earning potential significantly.

The role will involve travel throughout the East Anglia area therefore my client is ideally looking for candidates based in Cambridge, Chelmsford, Colchester, Ipswich, Norwich, Peterborough or Southend.

The role would suit an experienced Pharmacist looking for a new challenge and the opportunity to work for a company who invest heavily in learning and development.

I work within the Medical Affairs and Medical Information team.

What are some of the typical roles you cover?

Typical roles I cover include Medical Science Liaison, Medical Affairs Managers and Medical Information jobs. 

What are the hot issues in your sector currently?

As the responsibilities of Medical Affairs professionals continue to evolve, it is paramount that that they always stay informed about how changes may impact them - a big topic now is Brexit and its potential implact on the Pharmaceutical sector. 

Who is your biggest idol / inspiration and why? 

I think to me an inspirational person is someone who faces challenges and find strength when they don’t think they have any more to give – people who are fighting cancer, going through treatments which leave them feeling ready to give up but keep fighting are inspirational to me!  

What is your greatest fear?

I have a big phobia of birds… it’s the feathers, the beak… just no. I guess my biggest fear would be stood in Trafalgar square with pigeons coming at me left right and centre. 

How would your friends describe you in three words?

Caring, funny and down to earth.

You’re stranded on a desert island – what one thing could you not live without?

This would have to be my children. they would have to come with me as I would miss them too much but saying that the idea of a little bit of peace and quiet does sounds nice!
