Which area do you specialise in?

Medical Communications & Medical Education - roles include Medical Writers, Account Managers, Project Coordinators and Editoral Assistants. 

How do you keep up-to-date with the issues in your sector?

Attending events and meeting candidates and clients is a fantastic way of engaging with my sector and really getting to know people, companies and their motivations. This, alongside keeping up-to-date with MedComms Networking and PMLive articles. 

What's your favourite film and why?

I'm not the biggest of movie buffs but one of my favourites is Lars Von Trier's 'Dancer in the Dark'. It stars Bjork and I'm quite a big Bjork fan!

If you could invent one thing what would it be?

I would invent a mode of transport which is, essentially, a large rollercoaster. It would make my commute to work that bit more enjoyable.

The Role

As a Program Specialist you will be responsible for:

  • Creating projects plans and schedules, including change management and communications plansLeading project kick-off meetings
  • Ensure program is aligned produce strategy
  • Act as key internal and external point of contact regarding project status
  • Full financial tracking and budget monitoring

You

To be considered for this Program Specialist vacancy you must be able to demonstrate:

  • 2-3 years or equivalent experience in Medical Communications project management role
  • Strong client-facing and B2B experience
  • Some line management and supervisory experience is advantageous
  • Strong financial skills and business acumen
