Editorial Team Lead - Medical Communications Agency - Buckinghamshire, just outside the M25 - £45k-£65k + benefits

The ideal step up for a Senior Medical Writer, take on this Editorial Team Lead role which involves 50% writing and 50% strategic leadership of the 9-person Editorial team.

  • Provide compelling traditional and digital medical education programmes, 80% of which is meetings focused
  • Offer a creative and collaborative environment
  • Provide variety with therapy areas: Haematology, Hep C, breast cancer, diabetes, HIV, Urology and many more
  • Work with a substantial number of major pharma companies, including long-standing clients since the company opened 12 years ago
  • Have a specialist division working on an incredibly exciting global biosimilar account
  • Are based within a beautiful, idyllic village with boutique stores, coffee shops and restaurants on the doorstep


The Role

As the Editorial Team Lead you will be responsible for:

  • Lead the evolution development and management of the editorial team
  • Assisting in the continued growth of the editorial team
  • Managing the use of freelancers when required
  • Approximately 50% of your time will be spent writing



To be considered for this Editorial Team Lead vacancy, you will be able to demonstrate:

  • Experience working as a Senior Medical Writer or Principal Medical Writer or Editorial Team Lead
  • Experience in line management
  • Life sciences degree as a minimum, PhD or MSc preferred
