The Role

Experienced Writer- Leading, Independently Owned Med Comms Agency- Oxfordshire- £Flexible (DoE)

Due to ongoing internal growth this leading independent med comms agency is in need of experienced Writers to join their passionate team. This longstanding company prides itself on its ability to build long-lasting client relationships and has extremely impressive client and staff retention rates. If you have an MSc PhD in the life sciences and some experience working as a Writer within a med comms agency this could be the ideal opportunity for you.

The Role

This role will involve taking responsibility for the writing stages of a selection of projects. About 70% of the writing work is in strategic publication planning and implementation, with most of the balance being in key thought leader development, HE&OR and marketing consultancy. Most of the company's work is global rather than UK domestic and all stages of the product life cycle are covered.



To apply for the position as an experienced Writers our client was hoping for candidates with the following skills and experiences:

  • At least a years' relevant writing experience, preferably gained in a Med Comms agency.

  • A life sciences degree, to masters or PhD level

  • Hard working and able to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Substantial experience of publications work and a desire to develop skills in other aspects of medical communications

  • A team player with the motivation to succeed

I keep up-to-date using groups on LinkedIn and by keeping in regular contact with people currently working in the industry. 

What's your favourite film and why?

I love films, so there's far too many to choose from! If I had to pick one it would probably be the Harry Potter series. 

If you could invent one thing what would it be?

I'd invent a machine that made me a coffee as soon as I woke up - that would make getting out of bed much easier!
