The Role

Internal Recruitment Manager

Carrot Pharma Recruitment is a niche recruitment consultancy with offices in Wilmslow and Manchester. We work with a wide range of blue-chip and SME Pharma, Biotech and Healthcare Clients, sourcing talent for them across a variety of functional areas, from drug development through to sales & marketing. We have ambitious growth plans with our main focus being the addition of talented recruitment professionals to our team. These will be a mix of entry level Resourcers/Researchers and experienced Recruitment Consultants. To this end we are now looking to recruit our very own Internal Recruitment Manager.

The Role

As our Internal Recruitment Manager, you will be fully responsible for our entire internal recruitment strategy, overseeing the whole process, from talent mapping and attraction techniques, to interviewing, on-boarding, induction and retention. Importantly, the role will also include an element of HR administration, thus some prior experience of this or at least a desire to get involved in some HR duties would be required. You will work closely with the Directors and the Management Team to ensure you are clear on our growth plans and the priorities of the business. The role can be based in either Manchester or Wilmslow, though some movement between the two sites will occasionally be necessary.

• Manage the talent attraction process to find high-quality recruitment candidates in the most efficient and cost-effective way

• Manage the whole recruitment process, from creating adverts, to interview, offer stage and induction

• Create and manage a talent database to analyse and guide talent attraction strategy

• Manage a referral scheme and increase referral hire within the company

• Increase the use of head hunting to find specialised and highly experienced recruitment talent

• Build relationships with internal hiring managers and provide a consultative service to help them build their teams

• Work closely with our internal marketing team to implement creative and enticing copy

• Regularly report on the success of various advertising & marketing channels

• Analyse ROI on all channels utilised to inform strategy and future spend

• Manage the candidate experience from initial contact to post start date

• Work with hiring managers to develop bespoke induction programmes and initial training schedules

• Assume responsibility for related HR administrative tasks

Experience and Skills:

As the successful Talent Acquisition Manager, you will have:

• 3-5 years of recruitment experience (including internal recruitment)

• Evidence of success in this capacity

• Ideally experience of operating within the recruitment sector (but not essential)

• Experienced in recruiting full spectrum of entry level to specialist senior roles
