How do you keep up-to-date with the issues in your sector?

Through constant communication with candidates and clients within the industry. I like to meet with my clients and candidates as often as possible and to get out to as many networking events as I can. I also like to keep track of what is happening in the industry via LinkedIn, PMLive and other pharma news sites. 

What's your favourite film and why?

Gladiator - it's a timeless film with a great cast and fantastic story. They don't make them like that anymore.

If you could invent one thing what would it be?

I'd love to have a teleport. I love to travel but some places are so far away! I'd love to press a button and be able to spend the weekend on the beach in Fiji.

What makes you #DistinctlyDifferent?

I can read and write in Korean! After teaching English over there I have learnt to really understand people and have seen how rewarding it is to help people whatever their circumstances. In my job I really listen to both my clients and candidates needs and try to match them as best as possible.

Junior Account Director - Healthcare Marketing Agency - Hampshire - £50k

The Role

Offering the perfect step up for an accomplished Senior Account Manager or a new Account Director, this position will be varied and have you working closely with up to 6 different pharmaceutical brands.

  • Strategically own, manage and continue to develop a range of healthcare clients.

  • Take overall responsibility for leading a team of Account Executives and Account Managers.

  • Become an inspirational leader as you help them continue with their personal development.

  • Work closely with the creative team and other parts of the business to fulfil client and agency ambitions.

  • Ensure accounts are managed profitably, reconciling agency hours and costs appropriately.



You'll have previous experience of working within a marketing agency and have a particular interest in health-related communications. You will have experience of working on marketing strategy along with the following:

  • Strong account management experience for an integrated marketing agency or client-side pharma company.

  • Previous line management experience and a particular interest in helping junior staff develop.

  • A proactive approach with commercial business drive.

  • You will have an ability to make intelligent and informed decisions on behalf of the business, whilst knowing when to escalate issues or decisions to the Managing Director.
