What's your favourite film and why?
I don't really watch films. Does Corrie count??

If you could invent one thing what would it be?
A chocolate-making machine that would be a normal household object to be used daily, like a toaster.

Senior Account Director - Healthcare Comms agency - Hampshire/ Surrey border - £70K DOE

Exciting opportunity to join an award winning, ambitious healthcare communications agency on the Hampshire / Surrey border. As a Senior Account Director you will work with national and international healthcare companies to build mutually rewarding relationships, and deliver consistently effective and impactful communications programmes that ultimately improve the understanding of medical conditions and their treatments.

The Role

Senior Account Director with the passion energy and drive to grow with the agency.

  • Proactively recommend solutions which help clients meet their goals, from a broad range of medical communications channels, including congresses, symposia, educational or promotional scientific content, digital and multimedia solutions, stand alone meetings and more besides!

  • Coach, manage and inspire your own team to excel at their role to deliver client excellence, identifying any training and development teams.

  • Leading and preparing for new business pitches, as well as developing organic growth within existing clients.

  • Reporting directly into a member of the senior management team.


With a successful career in medical communication or medical education, you are looking for an opportunity to flourish in an independent, entrepreneurial agency and be an integral part of their ongoing success.

  • Ability to create relevant and appropriate, multi-faceted medical communication strategies on a national and international basis.

  • Strong interpersonal skills, transparent communications style, and the ability to build solid, credible relationships.

  • Energy and ability to engage with and excite any audience about science and medicine.

  • Track record of managing and growing successful client accounts and leading new business pitches.

  • Solid first line management experience with proof of developing others.

  • Strong analytical, enquiring, insightful and strategic thinking abilities.

  • A versatile and supportive team player with a mature approach to getting the best from both clients and team members
