How do you keep up-to-date with the issues in your sector?

Through constant communication with candidates and clients within the industry. I like to meet with my clients and candidates as often as possible and to get out to as many networking events as I can. I also like to keep track of what is happening in the industry via LinkedIn, PMLive and other pharma news sites. 

What's your favourite film and why?

Gladiator - it's a timeless film with a great cast and fantastic story. They don't make them like that anymore.

If you could invent one thing what would it be?

I'd love to have a teleport. I love to travel but some places are so far away! I'd love to press a button and be able to spend the weekend on the beach in Fiji.

What makes you #DistinctlyDifferent?

I can read and write in Korean! After teaching English over there I have learnt to really understand people and have seen how rewarding it is to help people whatever their circumstances. In my job I really listen to both my clients and candidates needs and try to match them as best as possible.

Account Manager - Creative Healthcare Communications Agency - Herts - £30k-36k

The Role

Due to new business wins and plans to pitch for more, my client is in need of an experienced Account Manager to join their team and play a leading role on a number of exciting accounts. Reporting directly into the MD you will become a strategic partner to a number of global healthcare brands where you will be responsible for:

  • Hands on account delivery work with a real focus on strategic planning, delivering workshops and advising clients on their pre-launch strategy.

  • Preparation and involvement in new business pitches.

  • Looking after a range of different traditional and digital campaigns for various global brands.

  • Day to day client liaison, financial management, budgets and invoicing.

  • Overseeing junior members of the team and helping them to develop with their career in healthcare communications.

 

You

  • You will be working in an Account Manager / Project Manager position and be excited by the opportunity to take on more work with greater responsibility.

  • You will be passionate about health relation communication and have a particular interest in developing digital advertising.

  • You will have a background in healthcare communications either at a med ed or advertising agency.

  • You will have experience in leading teams and enjoy the process of helping others develop.

  • You will be a friendly individual eager to build on your current skillset and progress with your career in healthcare communications.
