How do you keep up-to-date with the issues in your sector?

Through constant communication with candidates and clients within the industry. I like to meet with my clients and candidates as often as possible and to get out to as many networking events as I can. I also like to keep track of what is happening in the industry via LinkedIn, PMLive and other pharma news sites. 

What's your favourite film and why?

Gladiator - it's a timeless film with a great cast and fantastic story. They don't make them like that anymore.

If you could invent one thing what would it be?

I'd love to have a teleport. I love to travel but some places are so far away! I'd love to press a button and be able to spend the weekend on the beach in Fiji.

What makes you #DistinctlyDifferent?

I can read and write in Korean! After teaching English over there I have learnt to really understand people and have seen how rewarding it is to help people whatever their circumstances. In my job I really listen to both my clients and candidates needs and try to match them as best as possible.

Graduate Account Executive - Innovative Healthcare Advertising Agency - Herts - £24k


The Company

An award-winning full-service advertising agency, well established with a fantastic reputation in the industry. They work with a number of top Pharma companies to produce innovative marketing campaigns for a number of well-known brands.

The Role

Due to organic growth and a result of new business wins, this boutique advertising agency are looking for a strong life-sciences graduate, with a passion for health-related communication, to join their growing team.

  • You will work closely with Account Managers and an Account Director as an initial introduction to a role within client services.

  • You will assist the leading of accounts, attend pitches and be responsible for hands on account delivery work.

  • You will be responsible for the co-ordination of status update meetings and the development of weekly status reports.

  • Financial management across accounts, development of client contact reports and other general administration.



You will love this role if you enjoy working in a fun but busy environment as part of a great team. Along with enjoying a challenge and being eager to exceed expectations, you should:

  • Be degree level educated in a life-science or marketing related course.

  • Have a passion for health-related communication and pharmaceutical businesses

  • Have great attention to detail and are able to build strong working relationships

  • Are comfortable working to deadlines and show an ability to work with others and prioritise individual tasks.
