Which team do you work in?

I work within the Drug Development team.

Which area do you specialise in?

I recruit for roles within the Medical Affairs & Medical Information sector.

How do you keep up to date with the issues in your sector?

Speaking with candidates and clients daily keeps me updated on any industry changes or news and getting involved in LinkedIn groups as well as reading any news articles.

What’s your favourite film and why?

This is a hard one as there is so many to pick but I think it would have to be Love Actually, it never gets old and has it all - humour, love and is a little bit of a tear jerker.

If you could invent one thing what would it be?

If I could invent one thing it would be a machine that you could step into that would get your ready in minutes and would have loads of clothes and make up options to choose from.

What makes you distinctly different?

I used to work on a cruise ship and was able to visit the most amazing countries and meet people from all over the world, which I would not have met or went to if it was not for this opportunity. It also teaches you to work with a diverse group of people and have build great friendships from this.

Medical Lead (Neuroscience/MS) - Global Pharma Company - Hertfordshire - Fantastic Salary and bonus package


The Company

Carrot Pharma are working with an exciting client that have an excellent portfolio of products across a range of therapy areas including MS. They are looking for an experienced Medical Lead to oversee their Medical Affairs function.


The Role

As the Medical Lead you will be responsible for:

  • The line management of the Medical Affairs team within the MS function, providing therapy area and product support.

  • Overseeing the KOL interactions within the therapy area to ensure all compliance procedures are being followed and adhered to, building on relationship and to ensure that the KOL's needs are being met.

  • Working alongside internal teams such as the Sales and Marketing teams to provide medical input where necessary and providing compliance support to ensure that all medical materials are compliant with the ABPI Code of Practice and internal policies.

  • You will be the company representative at medical conferences, meetings and Ad Boards.



  • Must be GMC registered, ideally with Final Signatory status

  • Strong Medical Affairs background

  • Experienced within MS or Neurology

  • Must has previous line management and leadership experience
