The definitive cure to a hangover! Failing that a cure for the common cold. 

What makes you #DistinctlyDifferent?
I spent 6 months in West Virginia, U.S. on the Camp America scheme working with children aged 7-9. This gave me an understanding of caring for others and have transferred this skill into recruitment - supporting candidates' job searches and ensuring the role is right for them! 



The Role

Key Account Manager, Team expansion, South London & Kent, £Competitive


The Company

Seeking a new challenge and want to be part of a highly skilled, successful and autonomous sales team? Are you looking for an exciting and dynamic therapy area to work in? In the current pharma industry, do you want to work for a company that's expanding rather than restructuring?!

Our client is a Global Pharmaceutical Company who promote within Ophthalmology and have an established portfolio. Due to the success of their current products and a NEW LAUNCH in January 2019, they are expanding their sales team and are seeking 5 additional Key Account Managers to join their increasing sales force.

These roles will cover: East Anglia (ideally Cambridge), Yorkshire, North East (ideally Newcastle), South West (ideally Bristol) and South London/Kent


The Role

Within this role as a Key Account Manager working within Ophthalmology, you will be responsible for:

  • Launching a brand new, 1st in class Ophthalmology drug
  • Lead your territory completely autonomously. You will be left to go out and hold the conversations with the people you believe will best benefit the company and sales across your territory
  • You will promote a portfolio of Ophthalmology products within secondary care (with potentially some work in Dispensing Doctors due to a recent successful scheme in this area).
  • You will be required to do Stakeholder Mapping across the area whilst also prioritising your accounts effectively to maximise impact.
  • You will be responsible for managing, developing and growing relationships with existing customers and implementing any projects or marketing that you think will be effective in driving the business.



To be considered for this Ophthalmology Key Account Manager role, you will be:

  • Able to demonstrate a strong work ethic and able discuss, in detail, when you have worked on established accounts but also how you brought on new business.
  • This role requires excellent business planning.
  • Our client is looking for someone that has genuine passion for sales and thrives in working autonomously and sharing best practice with the team.
  • Be an up and comer! A Primary/Secondary Representative looking to progress into a dedicated Hospital role


  • Be an experienced Secondary Representative who wants to work on an exciting new launch at a company that is going through expansion
