If you could invent one thing what would it be?

The definitive cure to a hangover! Failing that a cure for the common cold. 

What makes you #DistinctlyDifferent?
I spent 6 months in West Virginia, U.S. on the Camp America scheme working with children aged 7-9. This gave me an understanding of caring for others and have transferred this skill into recruitment - supporting candidates' job searches and ensuring the role is right for them! 



The Role

Key Account Manager, Gastro & Renal, Fast growing Pharma company, North & East London


The Company

The company is a medium sized specialised pharmaceutical organisation with a drug portfolio that crosses over into various therapy areas including Gastroenterology & Renal amongst others. They have a rapidly developing product portfolio and are currently looking at recruiting a Key Account Manager across the North and East London area. This role has come about due to expansion with the North London territory being split into 2 due to the success and opportunities in the area.


The Role

This is a true Key Account Management opportunity, you will be responsible for working within various divisions of secondary care including Gastroenterology & Renal. This role will focus on:

  • Creating partnerships with Healthcare Professionals in secondary care

  • Driving KOL development and formulary applications

  • Prioritising sales and customer engagement activities

  • Proactively seek opportunities to address customer requirements and overcome and potential challenges

  • Work with a high degree of autonomy to win business

  • You will work autonomously on territory and work strategically in developing relationships with key influencers across your territory.



As a candidate you will be already be a successful and self motivated Key Account Manager, or Senior Hospital Specialist.

  • The company is relatively flexible on your therapy area experience (as long as it is secondary care focused), but you must be willing to learn a new niche therapeutic area.

  • Any experience in Gastro, Haematology, Renal or Biologics is advantageous, but not required.

  • You will have excellent sales success brought about by being innovative and entrepreneurial in your sales approach.

  • Degree educated preferred

  • Able to work in a small team and be responsible and visible for your results

  • You MUST have the ABPI
