The Role

Key Account Manager - South London, Kent, Surrey & Sussex - Small Pharma Company - £competitive

 

The Company

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a small pharma company working within endocrinology. The company believes in a truly autonomous Key Account Management approach, valuing outcomes and strong account plans over implementing a call rate. This role is covering the South London, Kent, Surrey & Sussex and is part of a team expansion due to positive NICE guidelines and excellent sales growth.

 

The Role

Within this role as a Key Account Manager you will be responsible for:

  • Leading your territory completely autonomously and hold the conversations with the customers you see fit to drive the product forward.
  • Hitting your sales and growth targets.
  • Stakeholder mapping across the area whilst also prioritising your accounts effectively to maximise impact.
  • Managing, developing, and growing relationships with customers.

 

You

  • For this role, it is expected that you will be an experienced Key Account Manager with a consistent background within pharma sales and longevity in roles.
  • You will ideally have worked across your local health economy including primary care, secondary care, CCGs and medicines management.
  • You will be innovative in your approach and driven to succeed. A natural problem solver, you will have a positive attitude.
  • You MUST be ABPI qualified.

I keep up-to-date by reading articles posted online and staying in touch with relevant news. 

What's your favourite film and why?

My favourite film...I'm going to have to say Se7en. I know how dark that film is but I think it's brilliantly written with unexpected twists and turns throughout. 

If you could invent one thing what would it be?

I would have to take a page out of Elon Musk's book and would invent a way for people to be transported around, similar to the way they do in the show Futurama. I just think it would make things ten times easier and quicker.
