How do you keep up-to-date with the issues in your sector?

Through constant communication with candidates and clients within the industry. I like to meet with my clients and candidates as often as possible and to get out to as many networking events as I can. I also like to keep track of what is happening in the industry via LinkedIn, PMLive and other pharma news sites. 

What's your favourite film and why?

Gladiator - it's a timeless film with a great cast and fantastic story. They don't make them like that anymore.

If you could invent one thing what would it be?

I'd love to have a teleport. I love to travel but some places are so far away! I'd love to press a button and be able to spend the weekend on the beach in Fiji.

What makes you #DistinctlyDifferent?

I can read and write in Korean! After teaching English over there I have learnt to really understand people and have seen how rewarding it is to help people whatever their circumstances. In my job I really listen to both my clients and candidates needs and try to match them as best as possible.

The Role

Due to new business wins and organic growth, this global healthcare PR agency are keen to bring in an experienced Account Director who can help the team grow and drive business forward. Responsibilities will include:

  • Taking the lead on day-to-day account management of large global accounts.

  • Assisting senior management with strategic direction of accounts.

  • Building key relationships with clients across several global markets.

  • Management, direction and continued development of junior members of the team.

  • Play an active role on new business development and pitch presentations.



  • Along with a background in life sciences, you will bring a knowledge of running health related campaigns and have 3 years' experience of working within an agency.

  • You will have a thirst for knowledge, interest and desire to work in the ever-changing world of healthcare communications.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication.

  • Effective problem-solving abilities and skilled at applying strategic thinking to translate insights into actionable ideas for clients.
