Account Director - Healthcare Communications - London - £Competitive

The Role

As an Account Director at this agency, it will be your job to lead the client relationship, on a day to day basis, and strategically influence your clients to achieve their brand objectives. You will take ownership of the revenue, forecast for your clients and contribute to the organic growth of new business development opportunities wherever possible.

  • Manage, develop, and appraise your direct reports.

  • Work alongside the leadership team to resource and hire new people for the account teams under each of these clients.

  • Evaluate creative work and provide constructive comments.

  • Proactively manage relationships with clients and seek opportunities to build and maintain new relationships.

  • Responsibility for the day to day running of accounts in all aspects with guidance from Associate Directors.

  • Responsibility for new business opportunities: driving growth on assigned brands as appropriate.

 

You

To apply for this role as an Account Director our client is hoping for someone with experience at a senior client management level within the healthcare industry.

  • You will have experience of line management and developing/mentoring direct reports.

  • You will have previously working within a marketing or creative agency.

  • You will have pitch experience and be able to confidently represent the business to new clients.

  • You will have demonstrable ability of working on a wide range of accounts and projects.

  • A Bachelor's degree - an advanced degree in business (MBA) is preferred.

I'm struggling to choose just one! I'm a big fan of the Bond films and of course love a good rom-com! 

If you could invent one thing what would it be?

A real Bernard's Watch! Pausing time whenever you choose would be so cool!

What makes you #DistinctlyDifferent?

I enjoy acting and have starred in a variety of TV shows - some involving a lot of prosthetics! I also have a background in Biochemistry.
