The Role

This Account Director opportunity would suit an experienced SAM ready to step up, or an Account Director seeking a challenging role in a more down to earth agency. This role will use your unrivalled knowledge of UK and Global healthcare markets managing the day to day running of client accounts and oversee advertising campaigns from start to finish, providing internal leadership throughout.

  • Providing consultation and guidance to clients to ensure the best level of service
  • Seeking out, identifying and developing new business opportunities
  • Bringing a positive and motivational attitude to the team to mentor junior team members and support the senior leadership team
  • Managing budgets, timelines and milestones to ensure maximum profitability
  • Liaising with internal and external agencies to ensure projects run smoothly and efficiently



To be successful for this Account Director opportunity you will bring a solid level of AD or SAM experience along with a passion for healthcare advertising. You should possess natural communication skills and a natural ability to bring leadership and guidance to your team and clients.To be successful you should have:

  • Passion and enthusiasm for healthcare marketing, communications and advertising
  • Healthcare agency experience as an SAM or AD is essential
  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills
  • Understanding of pharmaceutical and health related issues
  • Understanding of all elements within the promotional/marketing mix
  • Fully conversant with the ABPI code of conduct
