How do you keep up-to-date with the issues in your sector?

Through constant communication with candidates and clients within the industry. I like to meet with my clients and candidates as often as possible and to get out to as many networking events as I can. I also like to keep track of what is happening in the industry via LinkedIn, PMLive and other pharma news sites. 

What's your favourite film and why?

Gladiator - it's a timeless film with a great cast and fantastic story. They don't make them like that anymore.

If you could invent one thing what would it be?

I'd love to have a teleport. I love to travel but some places are so far away! I'd love to press a button and be able to spend the weekend on the beach in Fiji.

What makes you #DistinctlyDifferent?

I can read and write in Korean! After teaching English over there I have learnt to really understand people and have seen how rewarding it is to help people whatever their circumstances. In my job I really listen to both my clients and candidates needs and try to match them as best as possible.

Account Manager - Healthcare Advertising - London - £32k - £36k

The Role

  • Central to the role will be taking full ownership of the communications programme for each client, ranging from strategic input to day-to-day management of tactics with responsibility of:

  • Ensuring optimal financial management of each account and demonstrate a clear understanding of all financial processes within the business.

  • Monitoring forecast and plans in conjunction with Senior Account Executives, Account Managers and Senior Account Managers to ensure business objectives are met, on time and within budget.

  • Having a thorough understanding of the client's business objectives, product strategy and relevant therapeutic area.

  • Managing and influencing senior-level client contacts and maintaining positive working relationships

  • Supporting the development and training of Account Executives and Account Managers.



  • You'll have previous experience within healthcare communications either agency or client side.

  • Strong account handling skills are a must as is the desire to help develop the healthcare offering further.

  • Experience of working on promotional accounts would be highly beneficial.

  • Previous agency experience (within healthcare communications / advertising)

  • Experience of working with Pharma clients

  • Strong client management skills

  • 3 years account handling experience
